About the Programme
Transnet is offering an 18-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme designed to provide students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience.
The programme gives participants an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment while gaining hands-on training, mentorship and exposure to industry-specific tasks.
What You Will Do:
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to:
Assist with projects within assigned departments or workstreams.
Perform routine operational and administrative tasks under supervision.
Support documentation, reporting and other administrative functions.
Participate in training, workshops and mentorship programmes.
Shadow experienced professionals and gain workplace experience.
Conduct research, data collection and basic analysis.
Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office.
Assist with process improvement initiatives.
Communicate with internal teams, customers and suppliers.
Follow company policies, procedures, safety regulations and professional standards.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Matric certificate or equivalent.
Completed all theoretical subjects from N4 to N6 in Office Management at a TVET College.
Must be a South African citizen.
Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
No bursary obligation with another company.
Must provide the most recent confirmation letter from the institution.
