The Human Capital Intern will form part of Old Mutual’s Mass Foundation Cluster, supporting the Human Capital team with various generalist HR responsibilities.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support, assist with HR processes and contribute to initiatives designed to improve employee engagement and people performance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Human Capital Intern, you may be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Human Capital team.
- Assisting with general HR processes and employee-related administration.
- Analysing HR data and helping develop recommendations for HR interventions.
- Supporting HR Consultants and HR Business Partners with organisational development initiatives.
- Assisting with employee engagement and organisational effectiveness activities.
- Supporting the implementation of change initiatives.
- Assisting with people-plan initiatives and HR processes.
- Helping deliver the HR calendar within agreed timelines.
- Following HR controls, procedures and protocols.
- Handling sensitive and confidential employee information professionally.
Requirements
To be considered for the Old Mutual Human Capital Internship, applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
