Tips for Applying
Lead with acquisition results.
Houst wants proven lead generation or customer acquisition experience — quantify past campaign results (leads generated, conversion rate lifts, CAC reduction) in your CV and cover letter.
Show your tool stack. Explicitly list your experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Hotjar, Klaviyo, or similar tools — these are named requirements, so make them easy to spot.
Demonstrate AI fluency. Since Houst calls out AI tool usage, mention specific ways you’ve used AI to speed up campaign execution, reporting, or content production.
Confirm the logistics upfront. Be clear in your application that you’re based in or near Cape Town CBD and can work UK-aligned hours — this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have.
Highlight CRO and SEO together. Since the role spans both paid/lead-gen and organic growth, show examples that bridge acquisition and website optimisation, not just one or the other.
Reference relevant industries. If you have SaaS, PropTech, travel, hospitality, or marketplace experience, call it out explicitly — it’s listed as advantageous.
