Department of Health Internships: Free State Graduate Programmes (6 Posts Available)

Free State Department of Health Internships:

The Free State Department of Health has opened applications for several Department of Health internships across the Thabo Mofutsanyane District Office and Dihlabeng Hospital. These 24-month graduate internship programmes offer a stipend of R98,087 per annum and are aimed at unemployed South African youth looking to gain real workplace experience in the health sector. For young graduates in the Free State, opportunities like these are especially valuable, since public sector internships often provide a more structured and stable entry point into employment than the private sector, along with mentorship and hands-on training that can shape the direction of a graduate’s early career.

Six positions are available across three separate posts

Dental Assistant, Office Management (external), and Office Management (internal). Closing date for all three is 4 September 2026. Given the number of applicants these Department of Health internships typically attract, candidates are encouraged to prepare their documents early and apply well before the deadline.
